Component · Walk-up terminal The Alternative

The same Hiro, no phone required.

Hiro Kiosk is a customer-facing touchscreen terminal installed at the outlet. It offers the same machine selection and payment as the Hiro App — but through a screen that needs no smartphone and no app download.

HIRO
What it is

A touchscreen at the outlet — the full Hiro experience, without an app.

Hiro Kiosk is a physical terminal installed at the laundry outlet, with a touchscreen a customer walks up to and uses.

It provides the same machine selection and payment capability as the Hiro App — pick a machine, pay, and the machine activates instantly.

It's built for customers who don't use the app: by preference, by unfamiliarity, or because they're first-time or infrequent visitors.

Capabilities

What the Kiosk does

01

Touchscreen machine selection

Walk up, tap the machine you want on the screen, and confirm. No account, no scanning, no setup — just pick and go.

02

Contactless card payments

Wave a credit or debit card on the payment terminal attached to the Kiosk. Contactless tap — no cash, no fumbling with a PIN pad.

03

eWallet via QR code

Prefer an eWallet? Scan the QR code shown on the terminal to pay straight from your phone's wallet — no Hiro app required.

04

Instant activation

The moment payment clears, the machine activates. No phone, no download, no waiting — the wash or dry starts right away.

How it fits

A second door into the same platform.

The Kiosk does the same job as the App — select a machine and pay — but through a terminal at the outlet instead of a phone in your pocket.

It's a parallel touchpoint: the App serves smartphone users, and the Kiosk serves walk-ins who don't have the app.

Every action still routes through Hiro Platform. The Kiosk has no direct line to Hiro Link — it submits an order, and the Platform sends the activation command to the machine.

Two ways to pay

Tap a card, or scan a QR.

A third-party payment terminal is physically attached to the Kiosk and integrated into the hardware unit. It accepts both methods — pick whichever suits you.

Method 01

Contactless card

Wave a credit or debit card on the attached terminal. A contactless tap clears the payment and the machine starts — nothing to install, nothing to sign in to.

Method 02

eWallet via QR

Scan the QR code on the terminal with your eWallet and confirm on your phone. The payment routes through the Platform and the machine activates instantly.
