Component · Hardware The Bridge

The board that makes any machine smart.

Hiro Link is an IoT controller board physically attached to each washer or dryer — the hardware bridge that makes a traditional laundry machine "smart" and connectable to the Hiro ecosystem.

HIRO
What it is

A controller inside the machine — the point where hardware meets the platform.

Hiro Link is a controller board physically attached to each laundry machine, washer or dryer.

It receives activation commands from Hiro Platform and starts the machine, then reports status back.

Hiro Link only communicates directly with Hiro Platform — every command passes through the Platform.

Capabilities

What Hiro Link does

01

Activates the machine

Receives activation commands from Hiro Platform and starts the machine the moment a customer's payment clears.

02

Reports back

Sends machine status, cycle data, and error data back to the Platform, so the system always knows what each machine is doing.

03

Works across brands and ages

Hardware-agnostic within supported protocols — it brings machines of different brands and generations onto one platform.

04

Two operating modes

Protocol-based mode delivers full telemetry; pulse-based mode delivers simple activation. Data depth depends on the machine.

How it fits

One direct line — to the cloud core.

Every action in the Hiro system routes through Hiro Platform, the cloud core.

Hiro Link starts the machine and, on protocol-based machines, confirms cycle start and returns timer data.

Because Hiro Link talks only to the Platform, the whole system stays one coherent chain.

Operating modes

Protocol or pulse — matched to the machine.

Hiro Link supports two modes depending on machine compatibility. Telemetry depth depends on the machine model and its protocol support.

Mode 01

Protocol-based

Full protocol integration: activation plus full telemetry — real-time status, cycle data, error reporting. The live timer reflects real cycle data.

Mode 02

Pulse-based

Simple pulse/signal activation for older machines: activation only, no telemetry. The cycle timer shown is an approximate estimate.
